About Barbara

I have a CNA license and experience caring for large families, twins, and children with special needs. I am the eldest of seven and started babysitting for my younger siblings, three of whom are low-functioning autistic and two of whom are twins. Outside of my family, I have cared for children ranging from 4 months to 18 years of age. I am an animal lover and experienced pet owner/sitter; no matter what kind of pets you have, I am happy to help care for and play with them as well as your children. I enjoy going for bike rides, making arts and crafts projects, and playing games with children. I love reading both in my spare time and with children. I like reading aloud with children of all ages and reading books that older children enjoy or recommend to me so that I can talk to them about their favorite books. I like to help children learn in fun ways according to their interests and I am happy to help your children with their homework as needed.
