About Barbara

Hi. I am retired from the federal government. I'm married 42 years, have two grown children, a grandchild, am the second of seven children and have a lot of experience caring for children! I enjoy reading, music and walks. I'd describe my personality as pleasant, thoughtful and a good listener. I like working with kids because l love seeing excitement in their faces when they accomplish or are pleased with something they've accomplished. It could be stacking blocks or reading a book. I'm looking for a job that satisfies my need to keep busy. I started working with kids when I was in my early teens I would watch my brothers and sisters, cousins and neighbors kids. In my spare time, I like to read, music, sew, go for walks. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable, am a good listener and am good company. My skills include soothing a crying child, playing and listening.
