About Barbara

In the past I have had the opportunity to care for many Seniors. Each position varied in what was required from companionship, helping with errands, preparing meals, administering medication, taking to Dr. appts, & housekeeping. As a child, I loved pleasing & caring for people, these traits are still with me today. Responsible & mature at a young age, my 1st summer job was at 12 years old in which I cared for 3 children & their grandmother as a summer job for 8 years. With my parents both in their late 80's, I understand the importance of caring for them while still allowing them their dignity and self worth. I am honest, compassionate, reliable, and give 100% to any task required. I enjoy crafting and combine my crafts with Senior care. I find it not only provides mind stimulation, but builds a bond and fun time together. The smile on their faces after seeing their finished craft is priceless. References can be provided upon request.
