Thus, although I was once new at being a nanny -- I have always loved being a mom! I am dependable, tender-hearted, patient, responsible, flexible, and have full-range experience when it comes to caring for kids. My 16 years working in the public schools are a bonus. I have experience with tutoring, arts & crafts, sensory motor development as well as age-appropriate educational/fun activities with children. Thus, I am engaging and have a fun personality that kids love and enjoy making them smile. I believe that it is most important that children feel safe with their caregivers, so I have a gentle approach. Thus, I am happy to adhere to parental guidelines, but please know that I am very safety conscious. Barb was fantastic in every way! She arrived early, followed every direction we gave and was engaged with our daughter from beginning to end. She gave an excellent debrief at the end of the evening as well. Would 100% recommend her to anyone that needs a great babysitter!
