About Barbara

I was a stay-at-home mother for my four grown children. I have an Associates of Arts degree, as well as one year of childhood education credits. I have had many years of experience working with children, including paid and volunteer positions within the school and church communities. For the past 10 years I have been employed as a full-time nanny. I have worked with families with multiple children in ages ranging from newborns to 10 years. I also have experience with children with special needs. My duties within my past positions included total newborn care, transportation, participation in outside activities (swimming, library, preschool, Hersheypark, sports, etc.), potty-training, and education. Some jobs have included household chores related to the children. Activities I have enjoyed with the children include playing outdoors, reading, crafts, board games, etc. I am an extremely responsible, dependable, and loving person. In my free time I enjoy reading, tennis, and spending time with my family and friends. I have been fortunate enough to have developed some wonderful bonds with loving families. Children have always been my passion; I simply love being a nanny.
