About Bethany

For the past 2 years I have been traveling and teaching English as a second language in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica to student between the ages of 7-19 years old. Before becoming an ESL teacher I worked as a residential counselor in 2 shelters. A shelter for women and their children fleeing relationships of domestic violence and another is a Community Services for Young Mothers and their children. I absolutely love working with children. My experiences working as a teacher and in shelters have taught me how to be creative and caring in a variety of situations with children of all backgrounds. I enjoy creating an educational environment where children can grow and prosper while having fun at the same time. I can provide excellent references from all previous employment as well as any personal references you may need.
