I like working with kids because building connections is important to me and I love seeing how kids develop and grow over time. I hope to work with families who value candid communication and honor my schedule as a student with flexibility. I want a job that is stimulating and allows me to be myself and make a difference for kids and their families. In my free time I like to go on walks and find treasures in nature that I can do something fun or artsy with. I recently found animal bones and acorns to make jewelry with. I also love knitting, reading and creating in the kitchen! One thing you should know about me is I am not a fan of stimulating through electronic or senseless play. My goal is to guide kids in experiencing and learning about the world in a natural, yet engaging way. I like to do this by talking, playing and exploring new ideas and activities. My skills include practicing and encouraging healthy and clear communication, creativity and routine.
