About Beyla

Hi! My name is Beyla. I love to hike, cook, read, make art, and spend time outside. Childcare has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. In high school, I worked as a Counselor and subsequently a Lead Counselor at an outdoor exploration, arts, and music camp. During the school year, I nannied part-time for three awesome kids and babysat for multiple other families. During college, I worked as a Culinary Education Intern with a local business, Common Roots, where I mentored middle schoolers and taught them about culinary basics, knife skills, and nutrition. Post-college, I worked as an Outdoor Educator in the mountains of NC, leading outdoor summer camps and workshops for kids ages 3-12. I love working with kids and strive to find ways to keep them active and engaged by playing games, exploring the natural world, and making art! I offer light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying), meal preparation, and tutoring services as needed.
