My grandmother was very close to me and lived to be 98 years old. She lived in the same house since I was born. She was very independent and worked a long time after her retirement. I spent a lot of time with her telling her stories and she shared her wisdom, time and stories with me. I would go out shopping and come back and showed her what I bought. We enjoyed each others company so much! I also worked at (formerly the Old Ladies Home for 7 years). I worked in the dining room, kitchen and infirmary. I enjoyed it very much.
