About Brenda

Hi my name is Brenda, I'm a freelance graphic designer, originally from Los Angeles. I enjoy caring for kids and pets with a variety of ages. I'm fully fluent in English and Spanish. I'd describe my personality as energetic, creative and honest. I like working with kids because I grew up with a large extended family and continuously engaged with kids from all ages. I've been doing child care for neighborhood families and friends for 10 years. Including educational spaces so I also have experience with kids in school settings. In my spare time, I like to make art; painting, print making, collaging, drawing. I also enjoy taking walks and hikes with my small dog named Slug. My skills include good communication and creative problem solving, I take joy in being resourceful and using what's around me to overcome challenges. Additionally, I bring empathy and compassion, we all know the little ones need a lot of it as they discover the world and themselves.
