About Brooke

Hello! I have had a lot of past experience with child care. I have been looking after children for about 10 years and I love being around children. I have looked after kids ranging from the ages of 6 months to 12 years. I have a positive attitude and I am enthusiastic around kids. I have dealt with many different babysitting tasks and believe I have developed patience and determination through those experiences. I have also served as a member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters where I had the opportunity to work with kids once a week. Through this, I learned to serve as a mentor and a role model for kids who benefit from positive energy in their lives. Some of my previous jobs consist of working as a camp counselor and a paraprofessional at an elementary and middle school. In addition, I spent all of my last school year babysitting and tutoring a 9-year-old boy. Just recently, I babysat and tutored an 11 and 12-year-old kids as well. Through these jobs, I have had the chance to work one-on-one with kids and have built relationships with them. I am able to have fun being around with children and my various past experiences have taught me to deal with a wide range of age groups.
