About Carol

I have two grown sons and a grandson. I have been called Granda Carol by some of the children I've sat for on a regular basis. For years, I volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and was a "matched Big Sister" for four years (many aren't accepted) and have also volunteered in my church nursery. I worked as a legal assistant for many years and managed the Pro Bono Dept. at Legal Aid for six years. Raising children on my own was the greatest challenge of my life, yet it brought me the greatest joy. I provided care for a neighbor's two children twice a week, for two years, and I was with a family for 4 1/2 years, sitting one afternoon and one evening per week. The daughter is now old enough to care for her younger brother. I still see the children occasionally because I miss them. PLEASE NOTE: I don't provide care for dogs, cats only, & I can't respond to requests for pet services, since I don't want the app on my phone. I use a laptop the majority of the time.
