I hired Carole to be our family assistant for help with childcare, cooking, cleaning, errands etc. She told me in the interview that she felt she needed to be litigious with a former employer because she asked her to color coordinate the clothing in the closet and Carole didn't feel that was in her job description contract. I was alarmed by this b/c I said "That is something we'll ask you to do." and she said "I'm fine with it as long as I know ahead of time." She spent 5 hours with us and then said she had to leave and very little got done b/c she worked very slowly and it was obvious Carole had little enthusiasm for the job. Dropping off my daughter should've been 40 min there and back and it took her 1.5 hours. She said she really just wanted childcare only. Payment was a nightmare. She asked me the cancel the online payment I sent and send a ck. (hassle!) I sent a check with green ink which her bank said they MAY not accept so Carole sent me 27 angry texts demanding a check but it went thru.
