I'm Carrie and I'm a 26-year-old writer and part-time childhood literacy tutor based in the East Village. I'm also excited to be finishing up a degree in the New School of Public Engagement's Writing and Democracy Honors Program this fall (just my thesis left!) In addition to my writing, I absolutely love working with kids. My passion for my role as a childhood literacy tutor is rooted in over 10 years of babysitting experience, with multiple ages, settings and family sizes. I'm hoping to meet a family seeking up to 30 hrs/wk of childcare, which my schedule allows on an ongoing basis.
