About Caroline

Hi! I have two years experience working with a few different elderly clients. One had Alzheimer's disease, and I provided overnight care as well as care during the day. I assisted to and from the bathroom, facilitated memory activities such as looking through photo albums and doing puzzles, changed her, played the piano for her, and went for walks outside with her. Another client is recovering from two strokes, and I kept his space clean along with reading to him, overseeing his medication, running errands, meal prepping, doing fun activities together, encouraging him to do his exercises, and implementing speech therapy. DISCLAIMER: I am not trained in self-defense or safety holds and am therefore not equipped to work with dementia patients who display violent behavior toward themselves or their caregiver. I am not certified or licensed in anything other than CPR. I am looking to use my caregiving experience to provide companionship for the elderly.
