I am in the midst of getting a degree in Psychology, with a minor in Child Youth and Family Studies, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am going onto my Junior year! This past calendar year, I worked as a Staff Member at Norwood Park Elementary School in Lincoln, NE. I assisted K-5th graders with homework help and led multiple clubs which engaged the children in learning, socializing, and having fun! Additionally, I have provided basic babysitting/nannying services to family-friends for the past two years. I watched the children while parents were at work during summer and would help the kids with summer homework, household chores, or provided transportation that they needed to different summer camps, friends' houses, etc. I enjoyed this type of job as I was able to spend time with some wonderful kids while also helping make their summer productive and fun when their parents were working!
