About Carol

I raised 2 daughters (mostly on my own) and helped raise 5 step-children. I am now very blessed to be the grandmother ("Nana") of 6 beautiful children, ages 6-11. I am a very active, recently retired former legal/executive assistant. Caring for children has always been a joy, whether it's my own children/grandchildren or others. I have been very involved with volunteer groups within my church and community, from helping with the church nursery to teen groups. Community volunteering includes children's library programs & assistance at a center for survivors of domestic abuse. The downside of being a grandparent is that 4 of our 6 grandchildren live out of state, so my husband & I don't see them as frequently as we'd like--I have lots of "grandma time & love" to share with other children. I previously cared for a darling little boy from age 3 months until his 2nd birthday. I can give the parent's contact information when interviewing to care for your precious children.
