About Carolyn

Hi! I am passionate about working with children and helping all children learn and grown. I went to Ohio State University for college where I attained my bachelors degree in early and middle childhood development. During my college courses I worked at the university child care program where I had the opportunity to work and teach children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. After I graduated I was hired on full time as a pre-school teacher. I worked for 5 years as a preschool teacher before my husband's job moved us to the Asheville area. I started working at an elementary school here in January as an instructional assistant! I'd describe my personality as calming and easygoing, open-minded and thoughtful, and motivated and hard working. I'm looking for a job that is part time. I would love to help with after school care during the week. My school day ends at 3:30 making me available to work starting at 3:45-4 p.m. In my spare time, I like to explore our new city, hike, yoga, and read!
