About Carolyn

I love kids! I became a caregiver because I am working toward my doctorate in clinical psychologist and may want to work with children. I went to Bates College for biology, and while I was there I volunteered in a local school reading to K-2 students. It was there that I discovered how much I enjoy working with children-it's so gratifying to see things that they're learning click for the first time. I worked as a toddler teacher in a local preschool center and am certified with the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care in working with infants and toddlers. I have 1. 5 years-worth of experience at the center and 5-months-worth of one-on-one nannying experience for a 2. 5-year-old. I also have a nephew and nieces, all under 5. It is in these roles that I have learned so much about interacting with the children and how to engage them. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am available on weekends.
