I'm a UNC Chapel Hill graduate with a degree in Human Development and Family Science and a passion for reading, gardening, and developmental psychology! I have been working with children for the past nine years through babysitting, center based child care, and as a church ministry volunteer. I started working with children at my church's children's ministry in seventh grade, and ever since, I've continued developing my skills as an educator and caretaker! As an early childhood educator, I worked as program support and taught ages 3 months to 6 years. In babysitting and through ministry, I have experience up to age 14 as well as with children with special needs. I always do my best to provide a fun and imaginative environment for the kids I watch. I have nothing but good things to say about Carrie. I would definitely hire her again without thinking twice! If it wasn't for my job change I would still had her taking care of my son. She was very caring and patient with my son. And my son enjoyed her company so much and misses her now! She's also very dependable and punctual all the time. There were many times she went above and beyond being very flexible with her schedule to be able to help me when I needed her out of the regular scheduled time. She's a very sweet and active person and I recommend hiring her before someone else does!!!
