Hi! I'm Carrie, I am a college student currently studying at UC Santa Cruz for psychology and education with plans to pursue a career path in teaching. For the past 4 summers, I have been working at my local YMCA childcare programs during school breaks with upwards of 40 children, and through this experience I have practiced skills in patience, communication, creativity and responsibility with young children ranging for ages 4 to 12. Alongside my job, I have experienced caring for family member such as my 5-year-old nephew. I am comfortable with animals (no snakes!), housework, cooking/baking, crafts and activities.
