About Casaundra

Hello and thank you for visiting my profile! My child care experience stretches over a span of 30 years which includes: Babysitting, raising three children, a daughter now age 23 and twin boys, age 13, a Para-Professional for grades 1-12, Pre-K Teaching including Curriculum Development, a Site Director for a Before and After School Program, an Art Instructor, Volunteering for The Boys and Girls Club, The Dunga Orphanage Project, The Peaceful Valley Community Center and public schools. I believe in the fundamental importance of providing the two most vital elements for all children: Unconditional love, outstanding emotional and physical safety. I also believe that the need for independence is equally important which I felt is done through creating opportunities where one learns to be capable, accountable and responsible. I believe in the "model what you expect" concept, which will provide them the most important example of how to reach their goals. I feel that when these environments are provided, the possibilities to dream and learn are boundless.
