About Casey

Hi! My name is Casey! I am a current college student at CCSU majoring in Elementary Education with a focus in Mathematics and graduating in spring 2022! Currently I work for Bristol Public Schools through a unique program offered by CCSU called NextGen Educators. I work in a third grade classroom alongside a general education teacher assisting in daily lessons and instruction both virtually and in person. I also work at a daycare in my hometown where I have gained experience with all age groups: infants, toddlers aged 1-3, preschoolers, and school age students. Over the summer, I was the head toddler teacher (ages 2-3) where I not only taught the children, but crafted a calendar full of daily summer activities for them! I also assisted in the summer activities for preschool, and have previous experience as a camp counselor!
