About Cassandra

I love kids! I love that I can be silly around them, that they are incredibly forgiving and always speak what is on their mind. They are a joy, keep me thinking positively and help me to see what really matters in life! I am energetic and creative. I greatly value integrity, I ask a lot of questions and like to know that I'm doing my job right! Experience: I have given piano lessons and helped with tutoring. I worked as a primary preschool teacher for two years and at a Daycare center for a year. In my experience in preschool/daycare I worked with ages 6 months to 5 years. I worked one on one with children with learning disabilities and autism as a paraprofessional, as well as children with special needs as a behavior specialist for two years in an elementary and middle school setting. I have worked in a group home setting for the past 5 years (ages 9mos-16yrs). I am CPR certified and have my Bachelor's in Psychology with advanced coursework in Child Development.
