My 26 years of experience with children include FT nanny, PT live in, before/after school caregiver, and 7 yrs as a FT OCCS certified lead infant/preschool teacher. I have experience with special needs w/very basic ASL. As a mother of 4, my oldest 2 in college, I understand that each child's needs are different. I have an impeccable driving record and car. Ideally, I would like to have my 5 yr old with me, but that is negotiable. She has been with me at my current nanny position of 2 years with no issues. The family is moving out of state. Any evening/weekends she will not need to be with me. Cassandra has been with my two boys for almost 2 years (now 10 and 8) and has always done a great job. I would highly recommend her as a caretaker. She was constantly on the go driving them to their practices and events. She would play games with them as well as allow them to have the freedom to play with other friends at the house (the neighbors appreciated that too). Cassandra is very organized and flexible as our schedule would change with the weather and work schedules. We are sad we won't have her with our family now that we are moving, but I hope she can make another family happy soon!
