id been a cna for more than 15 years now. I'm currently working at UCSD Jacobs medical center in la jolla as a certified nurse assistant I'm only working there for 3 days so I can work couple more days a week. I have experience in caregiving job, home health aide. I have experience with pt with dementia, stroke, cancer, Parkinson, down syndrome, mentally delayed and more. I have experience in hospital setting such as medical surgery, pre operative and post operative, oncology, ortho, cardiac icu, neuro, rehal, icu, nursing home and home care. I do vital sign, patient care like bathing and daily hygiene, oral care. I know how to empty colostomy and foley. transfer pt from bed to wheelchair. I know how to use assistive device like hoyer lift, sliding board, sit to stand. can drive patient. I take take of my patient of how I wanted others to take care of my love ones. I was also employee of the year of my department in PTU in ucsd cardiovascular.
