I have a master's degree in Special Education: Moderate Disabilities, levels 5-12 and have taught for 8 years at a charter school and a Special Education Collaborative before having my first child in 2013. I am looking forward to entering into the educational realm again as I have been working part-time in order to raise my young children. The position of Special Education Teacher is one I am very familiar with as I was a Learning Specialist for grades 6-8 at the Academy of the Pacific Rim in Hyde Park. In addition, I was a lead teacher in a substantially separate classroom within L. A. B. B. B. Collaborative.
