About Catiana

I am a highly creative individual with a passion for nurturing curiosity and compassion. Paid experience includes work with elementary aged kids in an after school program, as well as direct care in a therapeutic boarding school (girls ages 11-15). My experiences have taught me how to build trust with kiddos through play, asking questions, communicating feelings and needs, holding space for creativity to blossom, and providing structure as needed. Other experience includes: Working on a farm and as an herbalist apprentice for the past 2 years and Yoga Teaching (200hr certification). I feel passionate about sharing mindfulness and nonviolent communication practices I've learned throughout my journey as a yoga instructor and mentor. I believe nature is the ultimate teacher and would be honored to share teachings I've gathered via my own connective journeys in these mountains. I would jive well with families who are seeking less screen time and more earth-based play.
