About Chanel

I was a nanny in Lombard for 11 years with a family with two children. The children were one and 2 years old when I started taking care of them. I supported their cognitive, physical, language, emotional and social development. I guided their behavior, did pretend play with them, played games and sports with them, and did homework with them. I took them to the park, library, and their activities. I celebrated their birthdays and achievements with them and mourned the loss of their dog with them. When the children were older, I worked at Educare, a daycare/ preschool in West Chicago as a substitute teacher aide in the infant, toddler and preschool classrooms. I changed diapers, fed the children, guided their behavior, and helped toilet train them. I helped promote learning through play, songs, large and small motor movement games and reading books. I enjoyed both experiences in childcare.
