I am so excited to get out there to help nurture, educate and care for a new familyâ s child/children. If Iâ m really lucky, a family pet(s) as well!! Being a nanny is so much more than just sitting around and watching the children. It means actually becoming their friend and doing fun, exciting and educational activities:)! I do have a major in Sociology-Family studies and a minor in Early Childhood and I have put that degree to much use over the years. I am backed by at least 10-15 plus years experience, whether being a nanny, teacher, babysitter, and even assistant director to Kindercare. I have had various other jobs over the years trying my hand at banking, pediatric office work and customer support for a data base company. However, I know more than ever that my passion lies in childcare and thatâ s wher I belong. Lastly, at the end of the day, I donâ t know who learns more from the other one because kids usually teach me more about myself and the world around us..
