I studied gerontology and even more importantly I've provided in-home human care for elderly which is much more art than a science that you can study. I have felt how important it is for an elder to simply have company: silent, still presence. I bring a lightness and strength for diverse situations of need - physical, mental and emotional. I can't tell you what I will do or promise a way that it will be because I adapt to each scenario and elder that I bring a touch of care to - even if it's just a task or errand. For more than light touches of care, I take great awareness in developing a rapport of trust and safety. I hold an MSW from University of Penn and have provided professional care for 20 years. I bring an ivy-league masters level of proficiency to communication, attention to details, subtle need expression, and general warmth/empathy. I also specialize in these elder care services: de-clutter, downsize, organization of any size space, and legacy preparation//writing.
