Hi! I'm Christy. I'm a social worker full-time currently, and looking to get back into nannying. I believe children (and adults!) need warmth and some playfulness in their lives. Birth to three is my sweet spot, but each age has its joys! Extensive early childhood education, 5 years Montessori experience, nannied for multiple families over the decades. My years spent in the Montessori classroom had big effect on how I parented my own child. My ideal family match would be flexible with scheduling. If we agreed I would work 25 hours a week, that will happen! I'm just hoping for a bit of flexibility on which days and times occasionally. I take the child's lead, if they need time to warm up- you got it! Want to have a dance party within 5 minutes of my arrival? You got it! I love music, dancing, art and travel. Christy was kind, gentle, and attentive to our 6-month-old. She's totally confident and competent in taking care of babies, but she also just seems delighted by them, which is really great in a caregiver! Highly recommend.
