About Ciara

I am a middle school teacher with 6 years of classroom experience. I have professional experience working with children of all ages and development. I have extensive experience working with students who require various levels of support academically, socially, and emotionally. I have taught English-Language Arts, Math, Science and elective courses centered around executive functioning at the 6-8 grade level. I also have professional experience working with elementary level students on reading, writing and math skills. I firmly believe every child is entitled to quality instruction in a student-centered learning environment that promotes authentic and engaging learning experiences. My framework for tutoring promotes building authentic relationships first, so that genuine learning can occur.
