About Claire

Hi my name is Claire! I'm a 20-year-old college student in Frederick MD. I love working with kids! I always had a kind and impactful caregiver growing up and I'd like to promote the same positive experiences among youth. I've had multiple caregiving experiences. I nannied for a 10-month-old and 2-year-old, both boys, for a year. I also nannied for a mentally disabled adult for about 2 years during the pandemic. I'm comfortable catering to any child's needs. A priority for me when watching a child, is communication with both the little one and their parents. I typically send text updates throughout the day and an overview at pick up. I'm a very calm and understanding caregiver. Most importantly, I also listen and follow directions given by the parents. I write down all instructions to make sure they are followed correctly. I enjoy playing outside with the kids, crafts, learning games, etc. I'm also a huge dog lover, so if you have pups that need care too, count me in!
