About Claire

I'd describe my personality as patient, flexible, diligent. I enjoy having the opportunity and experience to watch students build their skills and confidence. I'm looking for a part-time or full-time position. I am comfortable tutoring in your home or at a center/library. I am comfortable with parents, other children, and pets around. I began tutoring in elementary school, helping my peers study/complete their coursework with methods that would allow solo completion. Then, elementary schoolers while I was in high school babysitting them. Later, freshmen and sophomores while in college. One thing to know about me is that I will help with all the patience in the world and the understanding that everyone learns at their own pace. My top skills include elementary to middle school math, English/literature, and comprehension, as well as up to college-level writing. I also have general college-level knowledge about basic psychology, sociology, cultural anthropology, medias, and more.
