About Claire

I have been babysitting kids since I was in 7th grade. Since then I have babysat for many, many families. I started working at a pool the summer of 2015, where I developed even more skills, as I had to discipline children who were breaking the rules, comfort kids when swimming, and assisting them when hurt. That school year, I became a part time nanny- I watched two kids after school 4 days a week. My senior year of high school, I had a very similar job, but with different aged children. I was also in a club called MAD Mentoring, which was a organization from my high school, James Madison. Each member of the club was assigned to a child at a local elementary school, Marshall Road. We spent the whole year creating a bond with the child, through helping them with schoolwork, playing board games with them, or just talking.
