About Colleen

Hi there! Right now I am looking to connect with families for tutoring and childcare. My name is Colleen I have over a decade of experience working with children of all ages in various social and academic environments. I am currently a grad student in a Master's of Arts in Teaching Social Studies program here in Boston, MA. Last year, I co-taught Kindergarten, providing academic instruction and social-emotional skill building opportunities. Two years ago, I taught 6th grade Social Studies. For five years prior to that, I served as a Special Education Paraprofessional, in which I provide support to students with emotional disorders in the areas of academics, executive functioning, emotional regulation and social skill development. Prior to this position, I served for three years as a Site Director at an Elementary School. I enjoy the arts, history and spending time outside and love to integrate these interests in the care I provide. Hope to connect soon!
