About Colony

Hello, my name is Colony. I have been working with children since high school and have just finished up my first summer as a Farm Camp counselor at Wolfes Neck Center. During the school year, I attend the University of Maine at Farmington majoring in outdoor recreation and business administration. I work at Sugarloaf running the superquad lift on the weekends. Working at summer camp reminded me of how much I enjoy being immersed in the world of children. I love combining outdoor recreation with my passion for working with kids and am always learning new ways to create curiosity and learning within nature. I enjoy being a part of children discovering their connections with nature and finding spaces in which they are engaged and having fun while also learning about themselves and the world around them. I have endless energy and love to run around all day playing games and building fairy houses. I have experience nannying for a family during covid helping their children navigate hybrid le
