About Courtney

I like working with kids because each day is filled with a unique adventure. Working with children ensures each day I will find myself engaging in different tasks and activities. I also want to work with children because I like to provide a positive impact on the lives of children, build relationships with children and fellow caretakers, and have the opportunity to learn and grow. I started working with kids right out of high school when I became a daycare teacher for the age group of Kindergartners through 6th graders. I later became a preschool teacher at the same daycare. Following that I started working more one-on-one with other children, some of which on the spectrum. I have worked as a private nanny, babysitter and also in an elementary school setting. My skills include compassion, communication and creativity.
