About Courtney

Since I was a young girl I have loved to care for children. I started out with baby dolls, and then when I was 9 years old I found out my mother was expecting. Soon I had a little baby brother who I adore, and I took care of him right by my mom's side. This was what really started my love for children. I have been babysitting for children of family friends since the age of 15 years old, but I also have a lot of other experience with children. I have worked in a preschool for 2 summers, and I taught swimming lessons for children from 6 months old to 7 years old. I also worked at a summer recreation camp for a summer, and my most recent experience is being a nanny for a very busy family of 4 children. There was an 8 year old, two very active boys that were 7 years old and 4 years old, and also a 6 month old baby girl. I would say I gained a lot of good experience from this family. I am a very reliable and trustworthy person. I am a very crafty person, so I like to bring that to the children that I care for. I love to play outside and be adventurous, as well as sit down and read books. I am a very easy going person, and will fit into any situation.
