I am an animal lover. I have four dogs of my own I care for and two cats, plus I have had many other small animals over the years, including our 40-year-old turtles. I have been volunteering with two animal shelters, walking dogs and fostering for 12, nearly 13 years now. I have dealt with all kinds of pets, pregnant, young, untrained, behaviorally challenged, and sick/hospice animals. I am trained in giving medication, whether it be pills, topical, or shots. I also am very adept with training as my dog is a trained service dog and also did pet therapy at nursing homes. I did nonstop training and she was the only one of a group of about 30 dogs to actually pass the exam in her advanced class. I have often babysat and can provide references.
