About Daniel

I have plenty of experience tutoring, having moonlighted as a tutor numerous times in the past, and in my last position, the class sizes were quite small, so I was regularly able to engage personalized, one-on-one instruction, the type of teaching I most enjoy. I have a down to earth style that puts students at ease, which enables me to motivate students to become interested in the subject and become independent, life long thinkers and learners. I started teaching in 2007, spending a total of 7 years teaching in Texas, and 6 years teaching overseas, first in Kuwait, then in Venezuela. Most of my experience is working with high school students, teaching English Language Art , World History, US History, Psychology and Drama. I am certified in English Language Arts, Social Studies, and ESL in the state of Texas.
