About Daniel

My name is Daniel, and I am currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh. I am enrolled in an accelerated Master's degree and working with the Pittsburgh Panthers as an Athletic Training student. After this program, I intend to go into PT school. Im from Rochester NY and most of my experience working with seniors is there. For 3 years I worked at an assisted living home. I was both a server and a care aide for the residents in assisted, enhanced assisted, and memory care settings. I worked to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents as well as build relationships with them. This was always my favorite part as I was able to make an impact on these people's lives. Not everyone had family around so I was able to be that family for them. I also worked through the pandemic and both sustained/advocated for high levels of safety and care. My most recent experience came at Strong Memorial Hospital (back at home), where I was a Physical Therapy Aide on Orthopaedic and Cardiac units.
