About Darlene

I have experience tutoring elementary math, spelling, reading, writing, language arts, phonics, speaking skills and grammar. I worked with students with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADD, ADHD, autism spectrum, Down Syndrome, and Asperger, and other physical disabilities as well as students with no disabilities. I have more than 12 years of experience. I have the patience to teach and reteach different ways to help the students comprehend the concepts better. I use a combination of activities, discussion, and hands-on materials. I work with the student's learning style. I CAN TUTOR SOME ONLINE CLASSES. I tutor pre-k, kindergarten, elementary, junior high school, high school, and adult learners. I also have experience in public speaking skills. I work with students and adults to build confidence to be able to speak in front of small and large groups. I teach life skills, including resume writing, proofreading, writing college scholarships, English as a second language and time management.
