About Darlene

I am the mother of five children, and four grandchildren. I love babies and toddlers! I enjoy rocking and reading to them, feeding and caring for them. My first job as a nanny was in 2019 with a sweet baby girl. I am a safety conscious, engaged caregiver. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a difference in your child's life by providing extra love and nurturing. I want to support your family, and utilize my decades of experience caring for babies and toddlers. I have decades of experience volunteering in the church nursery. I taught preschoolers in Sunday School for several years. I worked with elementary and middle school age children as a substitute teacher in public schools. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. I enjoy swimming, boating, walking, and hiking. My creative side comes out in hosting showers and parties, cooking and decorating, as well as sewing and crocheting. I have taught adult education classes in some of these areas in the past.
