About Dawn

I'd describe my personality as kind, caring and patient. I like caring for seniors because they have spent their lives giving to others and it is the time in life where they feel safe and cared for. I'm looking for a job that I can help people and make a difference in their day to day lives. I started caring for seniors when I was young probably in my teens. I have worked in home with people for over 25 years. In my spare time, I like to sew, work on vinyl cutting with my silhouette, crafting. One thing you should know about me is I am a mother of grown children. I have a mother with dementia and understand the aging years. I am also a pastor's wife so I have experience with people. My skills include comforting, encouraging and looking forward. Of course I am good at the physical aspect of caring for people. I've worked in a hospital setting as well as in home and overnight care.
