About Dayna

I am currently at UNI in their online program for Elementary Education. I will graduate next Spring 2025, and I currently have a B. A in Psychology from UNI '22. I am expecting my first child in September 2024, and currently work in the Linn Mar School District. I recently moved to the Cedar Rapids area back in August with my partner, but am from Cedar Falls. I am looking forward to motherhood. Its a beautiful thing to watch and help children figure out the world around them. It gives me a purpose to know I play a part in helping them grow. I started working with kids when I became a big sister at 9. I was the older sister so I would be the one to babysit, then it turned into wanting a career working with kids. In my spare time, I like to read, yoga/meditate, spend time at home with my partner and pets, travel, look for new experiences like a pottery class, and thrifting. My skills include planning activities, prioritizing safety/health, and being loving.
