About Deborah

Dear family, My name is Deborah, I'm a CNA and have been caring for patients in home for 5 years, spending 3 of those years with 1 patient full time. Prior to this I worked in a hospice care facility for 6 years and cared for my mom during her 4-year battle with cancer. I love the one-on-one care of working with my patients in their home. I've learned that with a little time and lots of caring even those who are most closed off will begin to relax, smile more and allow their true personality to shine through, and this is so rewarding. I understand the difficult transition seniors may face as they surrender some of their independence, and for some the struggles of navigating the parent child role reversal. My goal is to make sure the result of my work leaves my patients feeling happier, more purposeful and well cared for so their family members can feel confident that their loved one is receiving quality care when they cannot be there.
