About Deborah

Being a mom myself, I understand the need to trust who you leave your little one with. I've been watching kids since I was old enough to help out in my church nursery 12 years ago. I babysat through high school and college, then nannied after! I have CPR/First Aid certifications and have brushed up on a lot of other basics just last year before having my daughter. With two cats at home, I'm familiar with balancing the safety and comfort of both children and pets in one space. I have a Bachelor's in writing but minored in Psychology and have read a lot of parenting books, especially those on gentle/responsive parenting. I love getting outside when possible, playing games, and fostering independence through play. Helping build forts, bake cookies, and seeing them glean new skills are some of my favorite parts of the day!
