As a mom of 2 grown kids and someone who loves to have fun, I'm excited to bring my creative, engaged, and hands-on childcare style to a local family. After a long writing career, I'm looking for something more rewarding. Cooking, serving, and caring for people have always been a joy. In college, I worked in childcare, starting with preschoolers and eventually working with infants. As I eagerly await becoming a grandma (no pressure, kids), I have plenty of love and energy to share. I thrive on engaging children in play, music, crafts, storytelling, and little adventures. Whether it's creating inventive crafts, singing silly songs, or going on mini-excursions like a drive to a park with a scenic walk, I bring a lot of enthusiasm to the table. Although I'm gearing up to be a grandma someday, I have an overabundance of energy and patience I wish I had when my kids were little. I'm ready to bring that enthusiasm to a family, ensuring children feel safe, important, and loved.
